Hey there!
I’m Kelsi Parenteau, PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, and Detroit’s premier Sexuality Doula. Nice to e-meet you! I’m a metro Detroit-based millennial woman with a passion for helping others become their most authentic, expressive selves.
After finishing college, I began teaching Barre/Pilates classes as a ‘side hustle’ to keep myself active while I ascended in my corporate career. I truly enjoyed the connections that I made with my clients over those several years in the studio, and the bond of sisterhood and support we created and fostered in that environment. I branded my classes as fun, sexy, and sassy, and my clients knew I was open and receptive to any questions, even those beyond fitness.
Nothing was off limits when I was talking to my clients, and it became a regular occurrence for me to hear about their most inner selves that they didn’t seem to have an outlet to share anywhere else. Their sex lives, relationship issues, and journey to self-confidence were all confided to me, and I treasured their trust and bravery in sharing these deepest, darkest parts of their life.
From my own experiences and standpoints, I listened, I laughed, and spoke at length about all sorts of “hush hush” topics, especially in regards to spirituality and sexuality. Before long, it became apparent to me that my calling went much further than just fitness classes!
More and more, rather than simply giving advice, the network of people that were reaching out to me and asking for my help in regards to the topics of spirituality and sexuality extended from my close friends and my Pilates clients, to friends of friends, and then purely word-of-mouth. I was getting emails and texts and DMs from all different women and all walks of life, who had certain questions they didn’t want to take anywhere else, asking for my help in navigating these supposed taboos and their quest for information and exploration within a safe space.
I now realize that this is something much bigger, and it feels like magic. I’ve decided that I want my sisters in this life to join me on this incredible journey and simply become MORE. I want you to live fully, to have better sex, and let that freak flag fly!
My Mission
My mission as a sex doula is for you to embody both the Saint and the Siren within yourself – to fully own your divine sexuality in all its power and expression!
I am a twice-certified Sexuality Doula from the National Black Doula Association, a hobby astrologer, and a lifelong weirdo with a big heart.
