Empowerment Through Your Sexuality

Today I want to talk a little more about stepping into your power through means of your sexuality. By my definition, empowerment and embodiment are meant to focus on the celebration of all that is YOU, as an erotic and sexual being. Truly turning the volume all the way up, flying your freak flag high, being fully authentic. The goal is to stand firm and tall in your truest, most expressed self.

Whether you realize it or not, you are a sexual being at all times. Yes, even at work, even at home in your pajamas with a book and a sheet mask, even on Sunday at a worship service. All times means all times! Just because different aspects of you need to be in the driver’s seat at different times does not invalidate any of your other aspects. Sexuality is a sacred aspect of our human nature; after all, pleasure has the power to take you to the heavens, and to bring life into the world. What could be more divine than that?

We’ve all heard the term “playing small”. Forget that! You deserve more, and I want MORE for you. Remember – you deserve the same compassion and love that you grant to others. You should be walking the walk, and fully expressing as your sensual self wherever possible. So, growing in these areas will help you to not only more thoroughly understand yourself, but also you’ll be a beacon of light to others to inspire them to do the same.
