Let’s get right to it – what’s a sex doula anyway, and why would you need one?

 

I’m glad you asked! In a nutshell, a sex doula is very similar to the well-known concept of a birth doula. However, instead of working within the realm of childbirth and pregnancy, I work within the realm of sexuality and spirituality.

What I do is help you embrace the inherent duality of your humanity. I explain it this way: you have your ‘light’ as your divine femininity, and your ‘darkness’ as your shadow self. The goal of my practices and work lies with integrating those areas to help you become wholly and fully you.

There’s a multitude of reasons why you could want to work with me as a sex doula:

You feel like you’ve lost that inner ‘spark’, and want help to get your groove back
Your relationship is going a bit stale, and you’d like to keep it spicy and fun
You’re ready to grow spiritually, and you’d like some guided work on diving deeper
You’ve got questions on sexuality, and need a private and trusted resource to have an informative and safe conversation
Or… you’re just interested in exploring yourself and your power!

These are all good reasons to seek out the help of a sex doula, and it’s certainly not a complete list. Any time you feel compelled or drawn towards something, there’s a good reason for it even if you may not fully understand the ‘why’ just yet.

I’m here to help you find that answer within yourself! I will be your true neutral sounding board – someone who will listen without judgment, help you process, and really talk things out with you. I’ve heard it all before, and I’m certainly not one to shy away from any topics.
